Adobe discontinues GoLive

From the “They thought this was news” department. MacCentral is reporting that Adobe has stopped selling GoLive. Anyone who didn’t see that one coming please raise your right hand.

Adobe has discontinued sales and development of its Web design software GoLive in favor of Dreamweaver, which it acquired as part of its Macromedia purchase.

obsession1_th.jpgI’m guilty of a few of these. For example, I nearly named my cat Adobe. Other names that where on the short list, Dunlop, Rossi, and Nicky but we settled on Frankie. I’m also guilty of numbers 2, 3, 9 13, 15, 17, 20 and 21. But those aren’t so much design related as they are generally nerdly.

I guess I’m not totally obsessed. How about you?

I found this neat-o blog and tried for several minutes to write up a paragraph description of it but with only 1 cup of coffee so far, I’m finding it difficult to think. So, I just copied the text from the About page. Here ya go:
