Remember how I said to never make changes to your JPG and that you should always go back to your original PSD for edits then resave because every time you open then save a JPG the quality goes down? You remember that? I know you do. Here’s a nifty video representation of why:

I found this post by Evan Ackerman on OhGizmo! earlier today and had to share it you guys.

bat_shuttleWhen space shuttle Discovery launched on Sunday, it was carrying one surprise passenger: a small, and probably quite confused, Mexican free-tailed bat. An inspection team noticed the bat sleeping about a third of the way up the external fuel tank prior to launch, but everybody assumed that the bat (affectionately named “Interim Problem Report 119V-0080″) would wake up and fly away as soon as Discovery’s engines lit. closed-thumb.jpgI just got this via email and thought I’d pass it along. I image it could catch you off guard and make for a bad day.

Please be advised that the Gannon Building’s 1st and 2nd floor north entrances adjacent to the parking ramp will be closed starting on Monday, March 9, so that vestibule renovations can take place. They will be closed for approximately three weeks, ending on or around March 20.

The elevators in these vestibules will be out of order during the renovation period.

Signs will direct people on how to enter and exit the building during the renovation.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Timothy Martz at x1807.

We apologize for any inconvenience and will try to get this work completed as quickly as possible.
