The exhibit – SHORT FLIGHTS – includes four media. Graphite pencil on paper is joined by colored pencil drawings on wood panels. Experimental work in calligraphy is present as both traditional ink on paper and as “animated calligraphics” in video. Four short animated poems will be shown during this exhibit, introducing a new interest for me in moving images in time. I hope you will have a chance to take a look. The exhibit opens Sunday, June 4; Noon to 4.
